SIS provides an interactive, educational learning system that connects the whole SIS members together, where each student and guardian will have his/her own SIS Family account to interact with SIS Family members.

SIS main aim is to implement the basic values of Islam by focusing on mastering the prophetic proverbs plus the 40 nawawia.

Create an interactive teaching and learning environment, where mimicking real laboratories through the application of scientific experiments by simulating a realistic experience. The student will acquire the skills of thinking also laboratory work based on the freedom of making decisions without negative effects and exposure to risk.

Smart Classrooms

Smart classroom aims at developing the students learning ability as chapters become more interesting to study and hence improve the results of the students. The smart classrooms are the future of education which help students gain more knowledge. The Smart classrooms learning approach provide a host of Smart Thinking tool that motivate higher levels of understanding.

3D Printing

The school provides the 3D printers to allow students to construct models with different physical and mechanical specifications. Also to allow students to compose models, games, designs and build practical skills based on the theoretical view. The usage of the printer will help students to learn more complex programs in the field of 3D design.

Academic Programs

The academic curriculum of Stars International Schools is designed to build a distinctive and integrated learning generation using all human perspectives: mind, body, heart, and spirit. The School follows the British curriculum. In core subject areas. Language Arts, Math, and Science. The curriculum is aligned with CCSS for language Arts and Math & NGSS for Sciences. The academic curriculum of the Stars International Schools for Arabic Language and Islamic Studies depends on the diversity of teaching methods and integration with modern methods to segregate the process of teaching and learning programs. The program offers an interactive approach in keeping with the spirit of the times and enriching the daily lives of our students.

Marking System

Grades 1- 12 will take regular tests, usually at the end of each topic or unit or as deemed necessary by the teacher. In addition to these tests, students will also be graded for Homework and Project Work throughout the Term, and make-up about 25% of the total Term Marks. At the end of Each Term, students will take an Exam which will be 75% of the Term Mark. The Term Exams will be scheduled as per the Calendar provided by the Ministry of Education.

All Assessments, quizzes, and test will be Standard-based, therefore will assess the skills and the students’ ability to apply those skills in given situations. Factors influencing a student’s grades are class participation, quiz/ test scores, homework, project/report/research grades/ effort, and attendance.
